Events Plus, in collaboration with Le Defi Media Group and Radio Plus, is organising the fourth edition of the Salon de La Famille on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd April 2016 at Swami Vivekananda International Convention Centre (SVICC), Pailles.
For the last three editions, the exhibition has attracted around 40,000 visitors. “Earlier exhibitions have been a great success and this year we are coming back with other interesting features like a pole concentrated on health will be set up and this will exceed the expectations of our visitors,” says Bruno La Charmante, Group Communication and Event Manager at Le Defi Media Group.
The different themes
The main themes will be health, beauty, wellness, nutrition, education and leisure. A dedicated health corner will be introduced this year. Agarwal Eye hospital and Mathieu Opticien will be present.
A Wellness corner will showcase wellness and beauty products and services. The nutrition corner will concentrate on health and counselling, diet and nutrition. The Education stands will bring together various institutions involved in this sector.
In the leisure corner there will be parks giving all families the opportunities to spend time together and choose the activities they want to do. An Atrium will propose exciting activities throughout the exhibition. Children will discover more surprises on spot!
What awaits you
Inicia Ltd and its decorative eggs Inicia is in its second participation will mesmerize the public and mostly children with the decorative eggs. The children will be pampered with balloons and can paint or do collage on the eggs. The public will be informed about the benefits of eggs. Sirud Ltee: First participation For its first participation, Sirud Ltd will make visitors discover its new range of “Ayam” products. Visitors will have free tasting of pharathas made by Roti Akka together with Ayam products. Special offers over the three days. Casela: 30% discount Casela will pamper visitors with 30% discount on all its activities and entrance fees during the exhibition. Quiz will be organised and winners will get surprise gifts. At the atrium, there will be face painting and mascot dance. Nutella and Weetabix pamper visitors At the Salon de la Famille, the visitors can discover the various ranges that Weetabix proposes. Free tasting of Mini Weetabix, Honey, biscuits, M&M chocolates and chocolate crepes. Special offers will be available on the three days. At the atrium, an M&M caravan, giant snake and ladder game and giant puzzle will be displayed. Winners will receive gifts during the three days. Polytol will propose discounts on colours In its first participation, Polytol will be offering special offers on different colours. Mathieu Mon Opticien: free screening A professional team will be at the Salon de la Famille to offer free vision screenings to detect vision problems and advise or recommend the best solution to the visual needs of each individual. Mauritius Cosmetics brings Dentamax This year, Mauritius Cosmetics will be offering special prices on Dentamax products making consumers discover this new brand. Zilo: At the service of Mauritian families It is the first time Zilo Company Ltd will be at the Salon de La Famille. This company offers two products: SodaStream and BIBO suitable for the whole family. The SodaStream appliance makes sparkling water and sodas without sugar. BIBO has a range of water dispensers which can be connected directly to the main water supply. Special deals will be offered to visitors during the exhibition. Hostesses will be present to answer questions and guide customers. Demonstrations and games are scheduled. Visitors can participate in a draw and win a lot of gifts. Nestlé celebrating its 150th anniversary Nestlé, the world leading nutrition, health and wellness company will once more be present for the 4th edition of Salon de La Famille. The MAGGI® brand will be offering a wide range of products based on the culinary heritage of Mauritians with ideal solutions for fast cooking.
