Appointment of Youshreen Choomka probed

The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) has launched a probe into Youshreen Choomka’s appointment as Director of the IBA on March 25. The anti-corruption agency has opened an investigation into the affair as the 31 year old lawyer was already the president of the IBA. Earlier this week, the ICAC conducted a first search in premises of Alentaris, agency responsible for the recruitment of a Director for the IBA.
