Nissan: The best-selling vehicle brand in Mauritius

Nissan, marketed in Mauritius by ABC Motors, consolidates its status by becoming the best-selling vehicle brand in 2016 on the local market. With a total of 1,617 Nissan vehicles sold, ABC Motors achieves another commercial record for the seventeenth time!

The figures compiled by the National Transport Authority confirm that the Japanese brand is not only the best-selling brand in Mauritius in 2016 but also places itself in top position in the passengers vehicles and commercial vehicles category. With 1,617 vehicles on the Mauritian roads from 1 January to 31 December, Nissan is clearly ahead of its closest competitor, which accounts for a total of 1,397 units sold.

“Our ambitions were to take first place in the commercial vehicle segment and above all to win the title of champion in all categories on the Mauritian automobile market. We are proud today that the goals set in early 2016 have been successfully met and that the Nissan brand continues to expand its leadership position at all levels,” said Dean Ah-Chuen, Executive Director of ABC Automotive.

At ABC Motors, the feat is attributed to a well-established commercial strategy, a forward-looking approach, a personalized customer relationship and a high-quality after-sales service. Not to mention the Nissan Qashqai and Hardbody which also helped achieve this great performance by becoming the Best-Sellers of year 2016.

One of ABC Motors’ business strategies to establish its leading position this year will be to expand the Datsun range, which has signed a major return to Mauritius in 2016 as part of the dealer’s 31-year anniversary.
