33 graduates at Ducere Global Business School 

Ducere Global Business School recently celebrated the success of its inaugural cohort, made up of 33 Mauritian students who received their MBA in Innovation & Leadership. The MBA in Innovation & Leadership, launched in Mauritius in 2015, is a course delivered through a partnership between Ducere Global Business School in Australia and the University of Mauritius. The programme stands out as the first industry-focused MBA in Mauritius. The first batch of graduates includes 4 students who graduated with distinction, namely: Mrs. Smitha Bissonauth, Mr. Prakash Gouriah, Mr. Vikash Mungur and Mr. Jerry Ng Tin Sze. The graduation ceremony was held in the presence of Mr. Jack Hylands, CEO of Ducere. “This inaugural cohort was provided with industry-focused learning experiences, integrated with major organisations. They are now equipped with enterprise skill sets for the 21st century innovation economy, developed through applied learning experiences,” explained Mr. Jack Hylands. The MBA in Innovation & Leadership is supported by more than 10 business organisations in Mauritius which act as Industry Partners, helping to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry needs. The programme experienced immediate success since its launch in 2015, as innovation is considered as a driving force for the development of new business opportunities across various economic sectors. Ducere has just recruited its fourth batch of students for the MBA programme and will be launching new courses in Mauritius during the coming months.
