Kangana Ranaut dédie cet honneur à toutes les femmes qui osent rêver

Tout récemment, Kangana Ranaut, 32 ans, avait déclaré la guerre à Karan Johar qu’elle accusait de népotisme. Cette affaire avait fait grand bruit. Elle est revenue à de meilleurs sentiments et a félicité le cinéaste après que ce dernier s’est vu attribuer le Padma Shri Award. Elle a déclaré à la presse que Karan mérite pleinement cette distinction. Il a travaillé très dur pour devenir ce qu'il est aujourd’hui. Kangana en a profité pour féliciter le cinéaste pour le genre de films qu'il produit.

De son côté, Karan Johar a publié un post sur Instagram : « It’s not very often that I’m at a loss for words, but this is one such occasion. The Padma Shri... such an honour to receive one of the highest civilian awards in the country. (I am) Overwhelmed by so many emotions right now. (I am) Humbled, elated and also thankful for the opportunity to live my dream every day, to create and to entertain. I know my father would be proud and I wish he was here to share this moment with me ».
