La fierté des décorés de la République

À l’occasion de la Fête nationale, plusieurs dizaines de personnalités ont été honorées pour leur contribution à la nation. Sur recommandation du Premier ministre, Navin Ramgoolam, le président de la République, Dharam Gokhool, a décerné plusieurs distinctions, comme le veut la tradition pour le 12 mars.

Le titre de Grand Commander of the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean (GCSK) a été attribué à Narendra Modi, Premier ministre indien. Cette année, un nombre particulièrement élevé de 19 personnes a été élevé au rang de Grand Officer of the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean (GOSK). D’autres distinctions ont été remises : Commander of the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean (CSK) – 8 récipiendaires, Officer of the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean (OSK) – 15, et Member of the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean (MSK) – 20, ainsi que 8 President’s Distinguished Service Medals, 9 President’s Meritorious Service Medals, 8 President’s Badges of Honour et 10 President’s Certificates of Honour.
